Universal Studios Hollywood sits on the hill above Universal City beside the 101 and the Cahuenga Pass. It is both a working film studio and a theme park, with the Studio Tour, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Super Nintendo World and CityWalk's restaurants and shops at the gate.
Buses reach the park through Universal City and drop at the loading area near the main entrance. Coaches that stay for the day go to the park's oversized vehicle parking, and a driver who drops and stages elsewhere can avoid the parking fee. The operator confirms the current drop point and parking before the day.
Most groups spend eight to ten hours in the park, so the bus either waits on site or leaves and comes back for an evening pickup at CityWalk. Multi-day tour groups often pair Universal with the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Griffith Observatory or the Warner Bros. and Paramount studio tours on the same coach.
The 101 through the Cahuenga Pass is the main approach and slows at both rush hours. Groups staying Downtown, near LAX or in Orange County should leave early to reach the gate before opening, when lines are shortest.
Pricing is one all-in number with driver, fuel, standard mileage and tolls. School groups and youth teams can also book with a trip leader contact on board and a single invoice for the whole program.
